Ogden's Own Distillery is pleased Idaho has taken the route to allow Five Wives Vodka into the state via special orders.
With special orders, Idaho will be allowing consumers to make their own choice as to what they want to buy and what they find offensive. Though we won't be on the liquor store shelves just yet, we feel it should be only a matter of time as we will trust that the liquor division will base the decision on demand when we re-apply for general listing.

Ogden, UTAH – Ogden's Own Distillery has received thousands of dollars in t-shirt orders from around the world and will be taking extraordinary steps to get the orders shipped over the next few days. They have also added an online seller so people in Idaho and across the country can buy it if their state allows it.
Ogden, UTAH – Because of overwhelming support from the Idaho community, Ogden's Own Distillery will remain involved in the Boise Music Festival as a sponsor even though it appears, at this point, Five Wives Vodka will not be available for purchase in Idaho.
"We are absolutely humbled by the support of the people in our neighboring state," said Steve Conlin, partner and vice president of marketing for Ogden's Own Distillery. "We've sold so many t-shirts to Idaho residents that we think it is only fair to give those proceeds back in sponsorship dollars."
Ogden, UTAH – Ogden's Own Distillery announced today that Five Wives Vodka has been banned from being sold in Idaho by the Idaho State Liquor Division.
"We feel Five Wives Vodka concept is offensive to a prominent segment of our population and will not be carried," Howard Wasserstein, deputy director of the Liquor Division, explained in a letter to distributor Elite Spirits of Boise.
